The making of PlayStation

Edge-online.com has a great article on the making of the PlayStation. Originally the PlayStation was to be a CD-ROM system developed under a partnership by both Nintendo and Sony. Because of a contract dispute between the two companies, Sony went on to develop the PlayStation alone in 1994 while Nintendo went their seperate ways with the SNES.
