How To Find Icons: Iconfinder
![]()
To find icons for a website I used to just use Google images to search for them but I recently found a much better solution. Although not all icons on iconfinder are free, many of them are. Another cool feature is that all icons on the site are available to download as either an ico or a png file for a nice clean graphic. Icons on iconfinder are set to standard icon sizes (16×16, 32×32, 64×64, ext). There’s also a free icons section with over 100,000 icons for you to use for a website.
More @ iconfinder.

nmap.org posted a giant interactive graphic based on the largest websites on the net. This large 37,440 x 37,440 pixel graphic shows a gigantic Google favicon surrounded by smaller but still huge Yahoo, Facebook, Wikipedia, MSN and YouTube favicons. iPhone Cupcakes, Even Cuter than the Icons

They should change the phrase to The Way to a Man’s Heart is Through His iPhone. Seeing the colorful frosting on the top of these cupcakes make me want one so much more than just a typical batch. It’s not just the bright colors that attract me, it’s also the meaning behind the icons displayed
